The police have forwarded the cases of three individuals arrested in connection with a serious accident in Hulhumale’ for prosecution
The accident occurred on July 31 near the Vinares Flats in Hulhumale’ Phase II, when a speeding sports car lost control and hit a stationary motorcycle on the side of the road, leaving a man seriously injured.
Those arrested in connection with the accident are IkramurRahman of H.Nooranmaage’aage; Ibrahim Ikram of M. Land of Garden, and Jinah Ismail of Azaadhuge, Ga. Kanduhulhudhoo. According to the police, the car was not registered for driving in the Male’ zone.
Following the accident, the three men fled the scene but were arrested later the same night.
