Third batch of Young Khatheeb training programme launched with 257 participants

The third round of training under the Young Khatheeb programme commenced on Thursday with 257 participants.

The training will be conducted over three days, with participants joining both offline and online.

The programme aims to train 1,000 young Khatheebs during President Dr Mohamed Muizzu’s tenure. With the conclusion of the third batch’s training, the total number of trained Khatheebs will surpass 500.

The Islamic Ministry said it is essential to prepare the youth for the future Islamic leadership roles across the Maldives.
