Parliament Speaker Abdul Raheem Abdulla has traveled to Geneva, Switzerland, to attend the 149th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU).
The theme of this year’s IPU Assembly is Harnessing Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) for a Peaceful and Sustainable Future. The assembly will take place from today until October 17.
Abdul Raheem is accompanied by Villimale MP Mohamed Ismail, Fuvahmulah Central MP Ali Fazad, Hulhudhoo MP Mohamed Shahid and Kanditheemu MP Ameen Faisal.
