Mosques to be built in six islands after Ramadan

The construction of mosques in six islands of the Maldives will commence after Ramadan.
The Islamic Ministry said the projects are being carried out with government funding. The mosques will be equipped with solar power and air conditioning and will be designed with classrooms to teach the Quran in each mosque, the ministry said.
Islands where mosques will be built are:
AA. Rasdhoo
ADh. Fenfushi
F. Feeali
GDh. Madaveli
HA. Baarah
Th. Veymandoo
The Islamic Ministry said the mosques will have the capacity to accommodate 300, 500 and 700 worshippers.
