Male’ records heaviest rainfall in 24 hours
The Maldives Meteorological Service (MET Office) has reported that Male’ experienced the highest rainfall over the past 24 hours, with 136.55 mm recorded from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm on Friday.
The Maldives has been experiencing heavy rainfall and adverse weather conditions across the country. Friday’s heavy rainfall in Male’ caused severe flooding, with several roads submerged. The Maldives National Defence Force Fire And Rescued Rescue are receding flood waters using 16 pumps across Male’.
