Maldives Immigration has extended its passport issuing service to include Saturdays.
Previously, passport services were only available from Sunday to Thursday, with no services available on weekends.
Immigration Thursday said despite Saturday being an official non-working day, Immigration offices in three areas across Male’ City will now issue passports on Saturdays. The offices are located in Male’, Hulhumale’ Phase I and Phase II.
The passport issuing hours on Saturdays will be from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
