Maldives and Saudi Arabia discuss strengthening SME collaboration

Discussions have been held between the Maldives and Saudi Arabia to enhance collaboration between Maldivian small and medium enterprises and Saudi Arabia’s businesses.
The discussions took place during a meeting with Mr. Al-Husseini, the Governor of the Saudi Arabian Small and Medium Enterprises Authority, Al-Monsha’at, during Economic Minister Mohamed Saeed’s ongoing visit to Saudi Arabia.
During the meeting, the Governor briefed Minister Saeed on the assistance being provided by Al-Monsha’ath to SMEs. The meeting also discussed ways to strengthen relations between Maldivian businesses and Saudi Arabia’s businesses.
The Maldivian government has already formulated a five-year strategy to foster a creative industry aimed at boosting the productivity of SMEs and individual creative workers.
