A nurse at the main government hospital, Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) has been suspended following allegations of drug use.
The hospital confirmed that the nurse had been suspended but did not disclose her identity.
The hospital has also alerted the police as the senior nurse is believed to have used drugs during duty hours. The police confirmed that the case was reported by IGMH and is currently under investigation. However, they have not provided any additional details about the incident.
