HPA warns of rising RSV cases among children

The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has issued a warning about the increasing number of Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) cases among children.

The HPA said it is closely monitoring the situation. Meanwhile, the public are urged to take preventive measures, including frequent hand washing and avoiding crowded places.

Symptoms of the virus include fever, cough, shortness of breath and chest pain. HPA advises to seek immediate medical attention if such symptoms are experienced.
