HDC unveils 15 new projects
The Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has launched a series of major projects.
The projects, launched under the theme “Transforming Tomorrow: Housing Development Corporation (HDC) Key Projects” were kicked off by Economic Minister Mohamed Saeed at a ceremony held Tuesday night at Central Park in Hulhumale.
HDC launched a total of 15 projects, including house projects in Hulhumale’ and other newly introduced projects across Maldives. Models of some of these projects were showcased at the ceremony.
According to HDC, the projects were launched in line with President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu’s manifesto, in islands under HDC’s oversight. The purpose of these projects is to enhance the quality of life for citizens and boost the economy.
HDC said the projects launched include two more social housing projects in Hulhumale, a row house project, and a pre-fab house project targeted for landlords under the Binveriyaa Scheme, in line with the presidential promise to tackle the housing crisis during this term.
An MOU on design consultancy and training for the operation of the newly launched Isle Adventure Park project was also signed at the ceremony. The MoU was signed by HDC’s Managing Director Fazul Rasheed and David Pieris, Director of City Developments Pvt Ltd.
HDC emphasized its commitment to improving the quality of life of the people through development and modern services.
