The Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has opened submissions for Expression of Interest (EOI) for the development and operation of three boutique hotels in the Hulhumale’ Phase II Integrated Tourism Zone, the Urban Isle. The EOI was announced on Sunday.
According to HDC, priority will be given to proposals based on a land lease model. However, EOIs of other models will also be accepted.
If multiple bidders express interest in the projects and submit proposals, the project will be awarded to the most attractive submission. The evaluation criteria include the proposed business model, operator experience, and social responsibility initiatives.
Interested parties are asked to submit their EOI via email by 2:00 pm on September 1.
