Airport taxes surpass MVR 1 billion mark

Over MVR 1 billion has been collected as Airport Taxes and Fees (ATF) thus far this year.
According to the Finance Ministry, the state received MVR 1.2 billion in airport taxes and fees as of the 15th of this month, compared to MVR 863.4 million received during the same period last year.
Statistics show the state received MVR 614.4 million in departure tax and MVR 617.5 million in airport development fees this year.
