Officials from the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) and Maldives Police Service have entered the Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Welfare over an ongoing investigation.
An official from the ministry told AVAS that the ACC and police entered the Ministry under a court order. The official said the ACC and a police team are present at the ministry as part of a joint investigation daring back to 2018. However, he did not share further details of the case.
Neither the ACC nor the police have officially confirmed whether they were present at the ministry. Therefore, the details of this case are unknown.
