Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA) has announced the names of businesses that fave failed to pay Goods and Services Tax (GST).
The list publicised by MIRA on Sunday includes 146 businesses that owes over MVR 600,000 in taxes as of the end of November 2024. MIRA did not disclose the total outstanding amount owed by the businesses.
The public disclosure is part of MIRA’s efforts to improve tax compliance.
