MMPRC hosts Maldivian Night in Mumbai with 300 artists and influencers
The Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) has hosted a ‘Maldivian Night’ in Mumba, bringing together 300 Indian artists and influencers.
According to MMPRC, the event is strategically organized with OTM Mumbai, India’s largest travel trade exhibition and is part of the Maldives’ efforts to strengthen its connectivity with the Indian market. Mandana Karimi, Shreya Pilgaonkar, Shashank Sanghavi, Richie Shah and Ruchi Soni were also present. MMPRC said the combined social media following of these artists and influences are over 200 million.
Noting that India is an important market for the Maldives’ tourism sector, MMPRC stated that it aims to attract more than 300,000 Indian tourists this year.
Many of the event’s attendees are expected to visit the Maldives in the coming months, the MMPRC said.
