The Health Ministry has launched a new portal, ‘Maaharaa’, for submitting complaints about health services.
The portal was launched at a ceremony held on Tuesday to mark Patient Safety Day, by former Health Minister Dr. Aminath Jameel.
The Health Ministry said the portal will allow healthcare recipients to voice their concerns regarding various issues they face. The establishment of such a system will provide an opportunity for service providers to improve the quality of services.
The portal was developed with the assistance of the World Health Organization (WHO).
