FENAKA Corporation has been ordered to pay MVR 5 million to a private company, B. Eydhafushi Cable Shop, within thirty days. This payment is the remaining balance owed for goods supplied by the shop.
FENAKA was initially ordered to pay the full amount of MVR 9 million earlier last year. However, only MVR 4 million has been paid until now, leaving a balance of MVR 5 million.
The case conclusion report stated that FENAKA requested the court to allow the company to pay the outstanding amount in monthly installments of MVR 400,000. However, Cable Shop rejected this proposal, leading the court to order full payment by September 23.
