Maldives plans roadshows in India to boost tourist arrivals
Preparations are underway for a series of roadshows in India, aimed at increasing Indian tourist arrivals to the Maldives.
The roadshows are jointly organized by the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC), the Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (MATATO), and the National Hotels and Guesthouses Association of Maldives.
According to MMPRC, the main objective of the roadshows, which will be conducted in three Indian cities, is to promote the Maldives in India and solidify its position as a top tourism destination for Indians.
The delegation representing the Maldives at the event will include Tourism Minister Ibrahim Faisal and Advisor to the President on Tourism Development Mohamed Khaleel.
