Maldives Immigration has issued a reminder to all foreign workers to ensure that they possess valid work visas in their passports when traveling abroad.
In a post on social media, Immigration said the advisory is intended to help foreign nationals avoid legal complications when re-entering the Maldives.
Maldives Immigration is actively working to track down illegal migrants in the Maldives. Over 6,100 foreigners have been deported since President Dr Mohamed Muizzu took office in November 2023.
